Sad

I'm a little sad. I am selling my Classic Winnie-the-Pooh nursery set.

The set that I FELL. IN. LOVE. WITH. AT. FIRST. SIGHT.

The set that I bought on Ebay for $150 because I was the only bidder.

The set that if I had bought it in the store it would have been $1500.
The set that I decorated Aimee's nursery with when I was only 5 months pregnant.

The set that I used for my son when he was born too. The set that has graced our nursery for the last 3 and a half years. I'm selling it. Why? Because my kids don't really like Winnie-the-Pooh. My daughter likes Princesses and Pink and Flowers. My son likes Cars, (not the Disneyized just a regular car fettish) Trucks, and Bikes, and the occasional Dinosaur. Someday God will call my husband to be a pastor at "The Church" and we will move again. Therefore, I have plenty of time to downsize and sell things we don't need online or wherever. *Sigh* Therefore, I am going to buck up and sell it and preserve it in my memories and in pictures and on my blog. There done. Thanks for allowing me my trip down memory lane!

  1. I had the same set for our ds...unfortunately I didn't get it for 150 on ebay. ;0) He will be 12 in November and I just sold it this summer at our garage sale. It was a sad day for me too.

  2. Do you still have the set? I bought one at a baby sale for our nursery and was getting it ready and there are a couple of pieces missing and some we are not sure what they are for. Saw your picture on the google image trying to figure it out and was just wondering if you could help out. Thanks and God Bless.
