Medicine Bottle Gift for Someone You Love

So this Mother's Day I came up with this idea for a gift for my mom and I love it and my mom loved it so I thought I would share it with you!

I had a large medicine bottle that I pulled all of the stickers off and washed. Then I wrote out special little things that I wanted to say to my mom. Most of them were "Remember when. . ." or "thank you for. . ." Honestly, when it came to doing this for my mom, I was crying my eyes out with all of the memories and thankfulness for my own mom. But anywho. . .

I cut the little things I wrote down into long strips of paper and rolled them up tightly - after I rolled them up, they stayed together surprisingly well!

I used a round sticker that just HAPPENED to fit perfectly on the top and I labeled it "Need a MOMint?" you know, like moment only MOMint? Just in case you didn't catch that one! ha ha

I attached a ribbon with glue dots - love these! If you've never tried them, get them!
Then I added this little sticker with these words:

Directions: Take 1 each time you need a Momint
Ingredients: Results of being a blessed Mother Proverbs 31:28

Ta da! Done! It really was pretty easy!

If you wanted to give this to a friend, boyfriend, spouse it would be very easy to adjust the wording for your special someone! Let me know if you use my idea and how you used it!

  1. Adorably cute! :0)

I received a medicine bottle gift from a friend several years ago.

It was entitled The Ultimate Prescription {From the Greatest Physician {God} The direction read something like this: "For excellent health take one pill daily.} Listen to His directions, read His instructions, and follow His guidelines. He will restore your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

The bottle was filled with white round mints that were written on them in edible ink. {Each "pill" had a bible verse reference on it!} It was really cute!

I'm sure your mom just loved it her gift!

Thanks so much for sharing and linking up! Hope things are going well.

    Much Love & Blessings,
