I have been doing this for awhile now and I have never had to pay full price to have my pictures developed for me. There are so many picture printing sites online that offer freebie prints when you join and later you can use coupon codes and get more cool deals. If you are aware of all of them you can really get a lot of pictures printed for a fraction of the cost! www.Snapfish.com - 20 free prints when you join - if you refer a friend you receive 50 prints for each friend you refer.

Shipping costs vary with each site but I've always been very happy with the overall costs of my pictures. Way cheaper than printing them at WalMart or printing them myself. With all of these sites, I always search www.retailmenot.com to see if there are any great coupon codes that will make things an even better deal! I also follow Money Saving Mom on Facebook and she lets you know about some cool deals too. Sometimes you can make really great gift items for a really small amount! I've made picture personalized cards for Mother's Day and 3 of them cost me $0.99 and they are all cherished by the recipients. I've made a photo flip book that gives the story of our love story for only $1.99. I've also made collages of each of my kids and for my niece for $1.00 each. So if you're making an order anyway, look and see if there are some deals for things other than just prints and I'm sure you'll find something along the way!
