After being stuck inside due to coughs,
sneezes and runny noses we finally broke loose
and enjoyed the wonderful weather outside.
We walked around campus and picked
dandelion after dandelion.
It was a challenge because I never realized there was
an art to be perfected when picking dandelions!
I taught my kids how to pick dandelions by their "handles"
to avoid hurting their yellow "faces."
By the time we walked back home we had left a trail
of dandelions behind us.
But a few lucky ones made it into my very own "Mommy's Dandelion Vase."
I am so very excited because these are
the very first dandelions that my kids
have picked and given to mommy.
And aren't they
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!
