Simple Homemade Chai Latte

I cannot STAND coffee. I've TRIED to drink it but cannot get over the aftertaste. Soooo I drink this almost every morning and I LOVE it! Probably why I drink it every morning! It's super easy to make yourself and while coffee shops may not approve of how I make it, I don't really care :0)

I pour half a cup of milk and fill the rest of the cup up with water. You can do all milk for an extra creamy treat but I'm trying to cut back on calories! Then I add a tea bag of Celestial Seasonings India Spice Chai Tea Bag and put it in the microwave til hot - for me 1 minute and 35 seconds but every microwave seems to be different!

After coming out of the microwave I add 1 teaspoon of sugar and stir - take out the tea bag and MMM . . . enjoy my little piece of heaven for the morning!

Oh and if you can't figure out what my coffee cup says: "Good morning, this is God! I will be handling all your problems today. I will not need your help -- so have a good day. I love you!
1 Peter 5:7 "Casting all your care upon Him for He careth for you.'"

Have a blessed day!

  2. Hello, Ann! what a wonderful idea! I, too, don't want to get started with coffee. I am going to try using Ruby Red Chai b/c it doesn't have anything called 'natural flavor' of this or that. It = a headache or migraine for some people. I bet I can use honey to sweeten it, too. Hey, thanks for joining in today! I am glad to come to your blog; this will be a treat to read some of your recent posts!
BTW, I just 'Liked' you :) Please would you add my button to your sidebar or this post to let others know where you linked up? I have been forgetting when I link-up and got reminded the other day :) LOL Blessings ~ I'll be back soon!
